Snowshoeing is a great way for walkers to enjoy the snowy mountains that would otherwise be impossible without ski’s. The Sierra Nevada has a good track record for snow and has Europe’s most southerly ski resort “Sol Nieve” which translates to ‘sun and snow’. Our holiday however stays well clear of the pistes and concentrates on genuine back country snowshoeing away from the crowds discovering areas rarely visited in winter. Continue reading →
